Oh my gracious, I've been MIA on this blog huh?! I have a different 'personal' one that I use for myself and surprisingly have been decently keeping up with that (though still not as well as i'd like). But geez, I really have been awful on this one haven't I?
My reason for blogging tonight is a great giveaway from the blog My Open Book and Frills and Flowers . These headbands are simply adorable (and the mama is super awesome as well! I just learned about My Open Book (from Frills and Flowers actually, but I read some posts and it is definitely a blog worth 'following'. :)
Good luck to all the other entrants! & Thanks to both for offering this awesome giveaway!

Cia's Quilt and (maybe) Mia's Quilt
Still in the process... I've been slacking.
and this is the fabric for the backing, i've yet to get to lol
It's not perfect by any means, but I love it and that's what matters, I hope she does too when she's old enough to have an opinion! lol
I also am making a quilt for my best friend, possibly naming her baby Mia.
and the back

Wow, I'm a slacker.
So I once again have completely slacked at the whole blog thing... oops!
I'm now just shy of 36 weeks pregnant with Cia, D and I can NOT wait to meet her!
I had an appt today, she's measuring perfect, strong heartbeat, and is still head down, and 'engaged'. So yay! Just a few more weeks!
Tonight, D was the sweetest little boy ever and while he was brushing my hair he stopped, turned my head toward him, and said "you look like a pretty princess!" it totally melted my heart, and made me cry. <3 I absolutely love being a mom.

Farm Show
This week was pretty uneventful in terms of the kids...
But Saturday we went to the Farm show. D loved all the animals and stuff to look at. Though it was a VERY long day and he missed out on a good nap (he took a short one) so he was quite the crabby patty by the end of it.
Here are some pics from the day :)
yes I'm sitting in the stroller with him on me... LOL

Quilt today...
I got all the 5in squares cut, and pinned for step 1 of sewing. However, the machine wanted to be a PITA and go loco, and idk how to fix it... so I have to wait until SUNDAY! (i'm going crazy with anticipation)
It will look WAY different after being "tossed" but, there are the colors all laid out. :)
In other news, D loves the Rumpelstiltskin story, and we read it about 10 times today... Then D would say "I stilskin, foot stuck" (in the Usborne version he stomps the floor so hard at the end it goes into the ground). Silly boy.

Busy Busy
We spent the weekend with Aunt Hoopie (aka Poopy!), Schoonie, and KK (or KK LMNO as Mr. Von called her). It was fun and Von looooved playing with Barkley and KK. We went to the mall and Von got a nice bruise-ish thing on his face from messing around in the clothing racks; typical boy.
I cut out fabric and attached it to the fusible fleece stuff... to make a diaper bag! I'm super excited to make it, but I'll wait until next week I think so Grama is here to supervise so I don't mess it up :P.
Von was pretty funny on Saturday night, he had fell asleep when there were still other people (sewing and watching football) at Hoopie's house... he woke up at about 2am, and was screaming "I WANT TO PLAYYYYY" which is how he fell asleep. Silly boy.
Today we spent 3.5 hours in the hospital. I had my first appt at the new practice. I realllly liked the midwife, and i'm soo glad I'm going this route instead of another OB. Even though my OB was super sweet... I'm not into all the medical intervention stuff. So our game plan for C's delivery is a calmer, gentler birth. It will almost surely be longer than Von's labor/delivery... But, hopefully less traumatic for both baby AND me! :)
I got the glucose tolerance test done, blood drawn twice, and my rhogam shot. And to top it all off, I forgot to get the 'proof of pregnancy' thing I needed. So ughhhh! I'm going to have to call the MA place and ask them what exactly that needs to be, and hopefully I have something that'll work. If not, I'll need to call the practice and see if they can fax me (or the MA office) whatever it is.
Von is asleep in his bed and i'm exhausted, with a sore bum! So, goodnight world :)

Big Boy!
D's went 2 days in big boy chonies with only one accident (when out with Grama K and she forgot to ask him if he needed to go)!! He's doing fabulous the past week in the potty training department. Hopefully by the time Little Miss is born he's completely trained!
As for sleeping, we're still trying the big boy bed in his OWN room. He needs mommy there to fall asleep, but I leave once he falls asleep, and he's been waking up two or three times a night each night. I think that given the fact he's NEVER slept in his own bed before this, let alone his own separate room, he's doing great! It does mean less sleep for mommy... but, here soon i'll be up continuously with a newborn, so I guess it's no different.
He's adjusting well to the people in his life having been switched, he woke up this morning and went looking for grama downstairs (who isn't here this week, she's gone to the farm show until next weekend), and when I mentioned Grama K, he inquired about my cousins who live there as well.
Tonight on the ride home from Grama K's house, he told me he saw a polar bear outside on the mountain! LOL and when we got home he was super adorable and was singing "twinkle twinkle little star" along with the melody that one of his toys was playing.
He also tried to put chapstick on me, grabbed my face and told me "Mommy you pretty girl!" Which of course melted my heart. <3
We miss Gigi, Papa, Uncle C and Aunt S though! January is flying by though and we'll hopefully see them all next month!
